Struggling to get things done, keep up or get started? Help is here.
Executive function is a set of many skills that we depend on for day to day life. It includes the ability to pay attention (and decide what's worth paying attention to), keep memory in our minds, allows to plan, make goals, be organized and keep up with conversations, and start (or finish!) tasks.
One of the most common challenges for people with neurologic conditions (especially brain injuries and ADHD), though many individuals without these conditions can struggle with these skills, too.
Psych Connect offeres Goal Management Training, a targeted intervention that builds these skills. Many people find that when their executive function skills improve, their stress goes down and their overall wellbeing improves.
